That Flashing Phone Light / 8 June 2005

My neighbors are the elderly parents of my landlord. The mom is basically deaf. Just now a strobe light catches my eye and I look out the window — I can see into their sun room and there it goes again, this flashing silver strobe, and then again, and it occurs to me that they’ve got something rigged so that thing goes off when the phone rings, because she can’t hear it. Fuck man I don’t want to die.
